Like a cloud that has decided to stay at play level, the Gia Kids bouclé fabric chair welcomes little ones with enveloping softness and offers them a personal, intimate, and safe space. The rounded shapes, soft volumes, and complete absence of edges create a serene and friendly presence, designed from slow design and slow parenting principles—durable, timeless, and respectful. The horizontal cylindrical backrest, padded and of modest height, provides support without restricting movement. Inside, a poplar plywood base is covered with two layers of polyurethane foam with densities of 24 and 25 kg/m³ and medium firmness, respectively, upholstered in a polyester-based fabric with a bouclé finish featuring stain-resistant and water-repellent treatment that invites tactile exploration. The seat, wide and rounded, is covered with polyurethane foam with a density of 24 kg/m³ and upholstered in a polyester and acrylic blend. Its medium firmness supports the body with balance, allowing a comfortable posture whether reading, drawing, or simply observing the world. The legs, made of rubberwood and covered with foam and bouclé fabric, provide a sense of gentle solidity, while the adjustable plastic protective pads care for both the floor and the child’s movement. Designed for children’s rooms, playrooms, family living rooms, or educational spaces such as nurseries and Montessori corners, this chair naturally integrates alongside rugs, tipis, and low shelves, becoming part of both rest and symbolic play. Because when a little one finds a place where their body feels safe and welcomed, their mind dares to explore without fear.
For proper maintenance, we recommend dry cleaning, avoiding the use of chemical products.
